Cambridge Busker's and Street Performer's Festival came back in 2025!
The sound of guitars, accordions, cajons, tambourines, and voices was heard once again across
Cambridge in June.
On the weekend of 7th-8th June, the Cambridge Busker's Festival took place at some of the
city's leading music venues, each of which hosted a rota of buskers throughout the day.
Cambridge Busker's Festival began on the streets of Cambridge in 2008, but in recent years
has become the Busker's Showcase Stage at Strawberry Fair on Midsummer Common.
Following the cancellation of this year's Strawberry Fair, Cambuskers Community Group decided to run the Cambridge Buskers Festival on the same weekend the fair would have been held, as a fundraiser for Strawberry Fair itself
and raised over £8,000!

The aim of the Cambuskers Community Group is to celebrate and embrace all the talent and culture we have in the city and to highlight the Street Performers Code of Practice throughout the festival. This code of conduct aims to ensure that businesses, residents and visitors can enjoy a time honoured tradition which goes back to medieval times, when wandering minstrels and bards travelled from place to place and acted not only as entertainers, but also as news reporters and message bearers.
